My own experiences with massage therapy led me down the alternative healthcare path, finding other ways to help someone with a more first-tier approach of maintenance and healing.

As a teenager, I experienced two jaw dislocations during grand mal seizures, and now have chronic jaw issues. Along the way, I was incredibly disheartened by the lack of mainstream information and help in available jaw treatments and sought out alternative methods, such as acupuncture and intra-oral massage. Through chiropractic care, massage therapy and increased self-care and advocacy, I finally felt some momentum in my personal health, which also sparked my intrigue to return to school for massage therapy,

In 2019, I graduated from Canadian College of Health, Science and Technology at the top of my class. My primary goal has consistently been to increase my knowledge and training of TMJ-related issues and shift my practice towards this.

In 2024, I obtained my Level 1 TMJ Massage Therapies Online CPD training from Helen Baker of TMJ Massage Therapies, then obtained an additional certification 'Understanding, Assessing, Treating and Managing TMD/TMJD' through Jules Poulin of 'From the Neck Up'.

In the fall of 2025, I will be gaining certification in voice, tongue and swallowing techniques through Jules Poulin as well.

I am also a Certified Yoga Teacher, and accrued my 200 hours of in-class training via Son Nguyen of Nguyen Chiropractic and Ashiatsu Training Centre. I am currently working towards my Pilates teacher certification through Club Pilates, and am striving to complete this by Winter 2026.
